Furthermore, Nomination keeps its entire design and production grounded in Sesto Fiorentino, Italy. This strong regional heritage blends rugged industrial steel with handmade, artistic top plates.
Every Nomination bracelet and link is crafted from certified AISI 304 and 316L stainless steel. These high-grade, austenitic metals are the same materials used for medical and food-safe applications. The steel is naturally corrosion-resistant, will not tarnish, and is completely hypoallergenic. This durable foundation allows the jewelry to easily withstand daily wear.
The gold, rose gold, black and blue base bracelets are PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coated. A vacuum process that deposits color atom-by-atom onto the steel surface.
The handcrafted decorations are made from precious metals, gemstones and cubic zirconia (CZ).
18ct yellow gold is used for letters, symbols and decorative motifs. 9 ct rose gold is used for details and overlays and 925 sterling rhodinated silver for other details and decorations.
The rhodium treatment prevents the silver from tarnishing. Enamel motifs are hand painted. Precious stones used for birthstone links include garnet, amethyst, and peridot, depending on the design.
